Around 40 Spanish citizens were evacuated from Gaza through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt. They are part of a larger group of Spaniards and their family members, totaling between 140 and 170 people, who requested evacuation. Spain has received authorization from Israel for a second group of around 80 people to leave Gaza. Pakistan's claims of neutrality in the Russia-Ukraine conflict have been questioned after revelations of ammunition sales worth $364 million to private US companies supplying arms to Kyiv.
