Eight members of the banned Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and IS outfits were killed in operations in Balochistan's Quetta and Washuk districts. US officials visited Syria's Deir al Zor province to address an uprising by Arab tribes against Kurdish rule. The Arab tribal backlash has resulted in clashes, with over 150 killed.
