Students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have criticized the school's response to an active shooter incident on campus. During the three-hour lockdown, students complained about the lack of communication and preparedness from staff. The university, however, defended its response, stating that emergency protocols were followed, including QR codes with emergency instructions and regular drills.
