Kerala floods: Relief operations in full swing

Centre has decided to focus on provision of emergency supplies of food, water and medicines as well as restoration of power, telecom and transport links in the state. Meanwhile, National Disaster Response Force will concentrate its rescue efforts in the still-affected areas of Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Aluva and Idukki. Train services are expected to be restored on all lines by Monday evening.
