Political leaders express grief over Atal Bihari Vajpayee's demise

As the former Prime Minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee passed away on Thursday, condolences started pouring in from political leaders from different parties. President Ram Nath Kovind while calling Vajpayee a "true Indian statesman", said, "Extremely sad to hear of the passing of AtalBihariVajpayee, our former Prime Minister and a true Indian statesman. His leadership, foresight, maturity&eloquence put him in a league of his own. Atalji, the Gentle Giant, will be missed by one & all."
