Tripura government's 'dress code' diktat for bureaucrats draws criticism

Bureaucrats in Tripura will have to avoid wearing jeans and sunglasses when on duty, according to a new diktat issued by the government. The move has triggered criticism from the opposition parties who called it "feudal". The memorandum added, "Certain casual attires like jeans and cargo pants should be avoided."
