Sweden faces political deadlock after gains by far-right party

The ruling centre-left allies have won 144 seats against 142 of the opposition centre-right parties in the 349-seat parliament. Far-right parties have made spectacular gains throughout Europe in recent years as anxieties grow over influx of immigrants.
