US, China see rival visions for entwined Asia-Pacific region

The ASEAN meetings focus on enhanced trade and security in a region of more than 630 million people. They wrapped up Thursday with leaders saying they made progress on such issues as cybersecurity, e-commerce and a free trade pact whose final draft was pushed back to next year after more than six years of negotiations.
