"We think China has a responsibility to also not shield Pakistan and join the international community in calling on Pakistan to take action against terrorists operating on its soil," a senior Trump administration official said. Failure at UNSC to designate Masood Azhar as a terrorist would run counter to the mutual goal that China and US share in achieving regional stability and peace, he said.
