World’s only floating N-plant is ready for operations in Russia

Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom) on Monday said its first-of-its-kind floating nuclear power unit, called ‘Akademik Lomonosov’, is now ready for commercial operations after a series of successful tests. Headquartered in Moscow, Rosatom has the second biggest uranium reserves and has more than a third of the world’s enrichment market.
