Russia confirms Lavrov-Pompeo meeting next week

Russia's deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted as saying on Friday by state news agency Tass that a meeting has been set up between foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and US secretary of state Mike Pompeo next week in Finland. Reports say the pair will meet on the sidelines of the Arctic Council ministerial session on Monday and Tuesday in the city of Rovaniemi.
