Why hotel toiletry bottles could be on their way out

Hotel industry officials say the tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body lotions are slowly being replaced by wall-mounted, refillable dispensers, as legislators and hotel establishments try to reduce the environmental effect of plastic waste. The bill, AB 1162, in California aims to scrap single-use plastic bottles at hospitality establishments.
