Hurricane Dorian: 30 dead in Bahamas, storm moves towards US mainland

Dorian was a Category 5 hurricane- the highest on the five-level wind scale- when it slammed into the northern Bahamas on Sunday, leaving at least 30 dead and a trail of unimaginable destruction. The US state of North Carolina braced for a "long night" of strong winds and driving rain as the storm closed in on the coast Thursday.
