Trump, Erdogan to meet as thorny issues stress relations

President Donald Trump will host a meeting with the president of Turkey as relations between the two NATO allies are at their lowest point in decades. Ankara has rebuffed Washington and has warmed its ties with Russia, even buying a Russian air defense system, despite being a member of NATO. Turkey also is facing backlash over attacks on Kurdish civilians.
