China attacked the U.S. Space Force as a "direct threat to outer space peace and security" and claims that U.S Space Force is a serious violation of the international consensus on the peaceful use of outer space. The Space Force is seen by the U.S. military as a recognition of the need to more effectively organize for the defence of U.S. interests in space.
