Check in but never leave: Taiwan offers fake flights

Has Covid-19 dashed your travel plans? How about a fake flight experience? Taipei's downtown Songshan airport on Thursday began offering travellers the chance to go through passport control and security and even board the aircraft without flying for anywhere. Around 7,000 people applied so far. The airport is using the event to show off renovations while passengers were away.
