WHO official cites AIDS as guide to addressing coronavirus pandemic

Head of WHO emergencies program, Dr Michael Ryan at an event by the International AIDS Society, said world leaders grappling with the Covid-19 pandemic "need to take a leaf out of the HIV/AIDS activist book" and make sure access to healthcare is equitable and evidence-based. He said that the pandemic has left billions without access to essential health services.

IMF team leaves Pakistan sans bailout agreement
