Biden urges people to have confidence in Covid-19 vaccine

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Friday issued emergency use authorisation (EAU) to the vaccine developed by American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech, paving the way for its use in the country. "I want to make it clear to the public you should have confidence in this. There is no political influence," Biden said amid the reports of White House pressure on FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn.
