The United States on Wednesday announced another $500 million in direct aid to Ukraine as US President Joe Biden and his Ukranian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed "additional capabilities" to help the military, during a telephone call, amid a grinding Russian invasion on its neighbour.
