Northeastern US girds for 'epic' Arctic blast

The National Weather Service is warning of extreme wind chills in parts of Maine this weekend. These wind chills could be the lowest ever recorded in those areas. Frostbite can occur within five minutes in these conditions. The most extreme conditions are forecast to occur Friday night into Saturday morning. Sunday's weather will be warmer.
