US jets down 4 flying objects in 8 days, unprecedented in peacetime

The Pentagon has been responding to unidentified objects in the sky by shooting them down, four in eight days. The objects have been shot down over the US, Canada, and Alaska, and all three have been described as small, nonthreatening objects. Pentagon officials have not ruled out the possibility of extraterrestrial involvement, but they are still trying to determine what the objects are.
