Both Russia, Ukraine report high casualties in Donetsk

Ukraine and Russia are reporting high casualties in the Donbas region, which is the focus of Russia's slow, long-running advance into Ukraine's territory. Russian forces have killed more than 1,100 Ukrainian soldiers in less than a week of fighting near the city. Ukraine said on Saturday that more than 500 Russian troops had been killed or wounded in a recent 24-hour period.
