Police, protesters clash at site of Atlanta police center; 35 arrested

On Sunday, a music festival was held as part of a week-long series of protests against the construction of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center on a 85-acre portion of a 400-acre property in unincorporated DeKalb County owned by the city. However, the peaceful demonstration turned violent when individuals in black clothing breached the site and began throwing bricks, rocks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at police officers.
