New caucus in Congress condemns poisoning of Iranian girls

Nearly 20 members of Congress across parties have united to form the Iranian Women Congressional Caucus in response to the recent incidents of poisonings of school girls by Iran's government. More than 500 civilians have been killed and nearly 20,000 others detained in Iran since Sep. 2020 amid nationwide demonstrations against Iran’s theocracy.
