US Supreme Court preserves access to abortion pill for now

The US Supreme Court rejected a lower court’s restrictions on the use of Mifepristone, a drug used in combination with misoprostol for abortions within 10 weeks, preserving access for women as a lawsuit continues. The court’s action will likely leave access to mifepristone unchanged in at least the next year with further legal proceedings including a potential appeal to the court.
