Ex-New York police chief who once led Gilgo Beach probe arrested on sexual misconduct charges

Former Long Island police chief James Burke, who previously served time in federal prison for assaulting a suspect, has been arrested for allegedly soliciting sex and exposing himself at a public park in Farmingville, Long Island. Burke faces charges of public lewdness, indecent exposure, and criminal solicitation.
