Muslim call to prayer can now be broadcast publicly in New York City without a permit

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has announced new guidelines that allow mosques to publicly broadcast the Muslim call to prayer without a special permit. The move aims to promote inclusivity and allow Muslim communities to freely express their faith. The guidelines will apply to the Friday call to prayer and at sundown during the holy month of Ramadan.
