North Korea says Travis King wants refuge from mistreatment in US Army

North Korea has confirmed that US soldier Private 2nd Class Travis King, who entered North Korea in July, did so because he was disillusioned with race relations and inequality in the US Army. It is the first official confirmation of King's detention in North Korea. Although confirmed by North Korea's propaganda arm, KCNA, it is impossible to verify its authenticity due to the regime's coercion tactics.
