Pakistan's interim PM holds emergency meeting; seeks plan for reduction in high electricity bills within 48 hours

Pakistan's interim PM Anwaar ul Haq Kakar has directed authorities to take "concrete steps" within 48 hours to reduce inflated electricity bills. The move comes in response to public outcry and protests in several cities. Kakar also called for measures to minimize electricity consumption at the PM House and Pak Secretariat, including turning off air conditioning if necessary.
