Pak's top election body asks federal and provincial interim govts to provide it with assistance in holding polls

The Election Commission of Pakistan has instructed interim governments to follow the law and ensure compliance with election notifications and directives ahead of the general election. It also demanded the withdrawal of all former senior politicians' official vehicles, accommodation and other security and protocol, and prohibited the announcement or implementation of new level developments unless they're ongoing and approved.
