With Hollywood on strike, Biden leans on Broadway stars in hunt for campaign cash

President Joe Biden is turning to Broadway stars for fundraising support as members of the Writers Guild of America and actors from SAG-AFTRA are on strike. Sara Bareilles, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Ben Platt are among those scheduled to appear at a fundraising concert. Biden arrived in New York to attend the event and will also participate in another private fundraiser.
