Haley ties for second with DeSantis while Trump leads in Iowa poll

Indian American former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has tied with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for second position in the race for the next US President, according to a new poll. Both candidates have 16% support, with Haley experiencing a 10% increase while DeSantis saw a 3% drop. The former President Donald Trump remains the frontrunner with 43% support. Other candidates have not reached double digits in terms of support percentage. The poll also revealed that 54% of likely GOP caucus-goers are open to being persuaded to support someone other than their first choice.
