Hamas releases American mother and daughter held hostage after Qatari mediation

Two American hostages, Judith Tai Raanan and her daughter Natalie Shoshana Raanan, who were abducted by Hamas during their stay at Kibbutz Nahal Oz., have been freed and identified as Chicago-area residents are en-route to a military base in central Israel. They were handed over to Israeli forces at the border of the Gaza Strip and are being reunited with their family. The release of the two hostages was made possible through a partnership between Qatar and Israel.
