Sri Lanka to host IORA Council of Ministers meeting in Colombo; Jaishankar set to attend

Sri Lanka will host the Council of Ministers Meeting of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) on October 11. The meeting will be attended by senior leaders from 16 countries, including India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Sri Lanka will assume the chairmanship of IORA for the period 2023 to 2025. The ministers will discuss cooperation in various areas such as trade and investment, maritime safety and security and fishery management.
