UN aid chief says second aid convoy for Gaza could lead to sustained relief

The United Nations is planning to send a second convoy of trucks into Gaza, hoping to scale up relief deliveries in the coming week. The first convoy of 20 trucks arrived on Saturday, but further deliveries have been delayed due to Israeli demands for aid verification. UN aid chief Martin Griffiths stated that negotiations are underway for another convoy of 20 to 30 trucks. The UN emphasizes the importance of continuous aid to meet essential needs in Gaza, where Israel has imposed a total siege.
