Around 450,000 Afghan migrants have voluntarily returned from Iran to Afghanistan, according to local media reports. Approximately one million Afghan migrants in Iran have received identity cards, and efforts are underway to assist those without proper documentation. Afghan refugees in Iran have expressed concerns over increased deportations, arrests, and harassment by the police.
