Geert Wilders' hopes of establishing a right-wing government in the Netherlands face challenges as the VVD party, led by Dilan Yesilgoz, ruled out directly joining a new cabinet. ​“Voters have spoken and they have told us to skip this round,” said Dilan Yesilgoz, the new leader of outgoing PM Mark Rutte’s conservative VVD party, which lost seats and finished third in Wednesday’s election. “However we would make a centre-right cabinet possible. We will support constructive proposals, so this would be a form of outside support,” Yesilgoz said.
