Two US cities witness biggest Halloween snowfall in over three decades

Residents of Minneapolis-Saint Paul were surprised by a significant snowfall on Halloween, with over 2.5 inches of snow covering the Twin Cities. This is one of the most substantial snowfalls in decades for the area. The last time a Halloween snowstorm of this magnitude occurred was in 1991. The snowfall ranks among the highest October accumulations for Minnesota. The morning commute was challenging due to icy road conditions, leading to numerous crashes.
