Ukraine officer had key role in Nord Stream sabotage: Reports

An investigation by The Washington Post and German outlet Der Spiegel suggests that a Ukrainian special forces commander, Roman Chervinsky, played a key role in the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines in September 2020. Chervinsky allegedly oversaw logistics and support for a team that placed explosive charges on the pipelines, causing damage and cutting off a major route for Russian gas exports to Europe. Chervinsky denies any involvement, stating that the claims are spread by Russian propaganda.
