War on Hamas is 'war of the free world': Israeli FM

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen declared that Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza is "the war of the free world" during a meeting with EU lawmakers. Cohen accused Iran of being the main financier of terrorism and stated that Israel has been attacked by various militias in the region. He also appealed for international assistance in securing the release of over 240 hostages held by Hamas, including more than 30 children. Cohen later met with European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen, who expressed the EU's solidarity and called for the release of the hostages.
