Appeals court again upholds gag order barring Donald Trump from commenting about judge's staff

A New York appeals court has upheld a gag order that bars Donald Trump from commenting about court personnel in his civil fraud trial. Trump's lawyers erred by suing trial Judge Arthur Engoron instead of following the normal appeals process. Closing arguments are scheduled for Jan. 11 in New York Attorney General Letitia James' lawsuit, which threatens Trump's real estate empire. The gag order, imposed after Trump disparaged his law clerk, cannot be challenged under Article 78.
