North Korea's reconnaissance satellite operation office, functioning as a military intelligence organisation, started its mission on Saturday. The office, located at the Pyongyang General Control Centre of the National Aerospace Technology Administration (NATA), will report acquired information to the reconnaissance bureau at the army and other major units. Despite no released imagery, analysts and foreign governments debate its capability. South Korea also launched its own spy satellite this month.
