Avdiivka, longtime stronghold for Ukraine, falls to Russians

Ukraine's military commander ordered withdrawal from Avdiivka due to Russian bombardment, surrendering a military stronghold. This is the first major gain for Russian forces since May. Ukrainian forces withdrew due to firepower, overwhelming soldiers, and lack of military aid.
