Cognizant healthcare revenue beats banking and financial services'

For the first time in Cognizant's history, revenue from the healthcare sector surpassed that from banking and financial services (BFSI) in the December quarter, indicating persistent weakness in financial services, which is battling with high interest rates. Cognizant's BFSI revenue for the December quarter was $1,395 million, while healthcare revenue was $1,396 million. Cognizant began revealing its sectoral income in 2002.
