India in Quad driver’s seat, US has corrective wheel: US envoy Eric Garcetti

Eric Garcetti, the US Ambassador to India, emphasized that India holds the leading role in the Quad, likening it to being in the "driving seat," while the United States occupies the seat next to it with the "corrective steering wheel." He highlighted that it is India's responsibility to assertively delineate the character of the diplomatic partnership. Speaking at the 17th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF), Garcetti employed a distinctive analogy of to illustrate the varied roles played by member countries within the Quad.
