WHO chief refers to Global Traditional Medicine Centre in India in his address to World Health Assembly

World Health Organisation chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus highlighted the establishment of the Global Traditional Medicine Centre in India and the hosting of the first global summit on traditional medicine in 2023 during the 77th World Health Assembly in Geneva. The Global Centre for Traditional Medicine, supported by an investment of $250 million from India, aims to leverage traditional medicine worldwide through modern science and technology for better health outcomes.
