​Former president Donald Trump said he has all the respect for his running mate JD Vance despite the several controversies around him. On his 'childless cat ladies' comment, Trump said JD Vance is a family-oriented man and what he meant is that family experience is valuable, according to Trump's interpretation. On being asked why he chose JD Vance -- during the rocky interview at the Black journalists' convention at Chicago Wednesday, Trump said JD Vance is a very strong believer in work and working men and women who have been treated unfairly.
