Iranian-German prisoner Jamshid Sharmahd, who lived in US, executed in Iran over terror conviction

Iranian-German prisoner Jamshid Sharmahd, abducted by Iranian security forces in Dubai in 2020, has been executed in Iran. Convicted on terror charges, including planning a 2008 mosque attack, Sharmahd's family disputes the allegations and had strived for his release. He was captured after a mysterious journey from Dubai to Oman.
