Florida woman using mother's identity for hurricane aid blames 'botox' for younger look, gets arrested

Florida resident Veronica Torres, 44, was apprehended for allegedly impersonating her mother to secure hurricane relief funds. Torres allegedly utilized her mother's identification to fraudulently obtain a check for $7,967, claiming hurricane-related displacement. When confronted about an age discrepancy, Torres attributed her youthful appearance to "botox treatments." She was subsequently arrested and charged with filing a false public assistance claim.
