UAE: No more second-term exams for students across all grades in 2025–26 academic year

The UAE Ministry of Education has cancelled second-semester central exams for all grades, shifting to continuous and school-based assessments to ease academic pressure and improve learning outcomes. Grades 1–4 will follow continuous evaluation, while grades 5–12 will have summative school assessments. The 2025–26 academic year begins August 25, with nine new schools, updated infrastructure, and over one million students returning.
